Enable Run as Different User in Windows 7,Window 8/8.1

Enable RUN AS DIFFERENT USER in windows 8.1

This tutorial is intended to open any application in windows with another user in windows 7/8/8.1 which is disabled on right click now we are going to make it as enabled.

So initially you don’t find option on right click to any application ‘Run as Different User’ to enable this

Step 1: Open run command Windows key + R , Type gpedit.msc click ok/ press enter.

Step 2: A new dialog box opens in Left side pane go to Local computer Policy>> User Configuration >> Administrative templates >> Start Menu and Task Bar

Now in right side pane go to Show “Run as Different user command” Double click on it.

Step 3: You will get a new window as show below Click on Enabled >> OK
